Zombies, Custom Rigs and DIY Tiny House Neighbors

Today’s Tiny House Parking Spot

Welcome to our most recent Tiny House Parking Spot...rom parking indoors in downtown Denver to visiting friends and getting impromptu tiny home Tours, dope skooies and DIY tiny house on wheels neighbors!

This past weekend we were parked inside, inside, at the Self Reliance & Simple Life Experience in downtown Denver. After leaving we visited our friends at Colorado Custom Coachworks, a custom metal fab shop that specializes in adventure rig and mobile tiny dwelling creation. They also host and assist DIYers. They are several school bus conversions on-site in various build stages and styles, from vintage buses to roof raises. Keep scrolling for links.

After checking out all the dope creations at Colorado Custom Coachworks, we hit the road to go visit our friends, Erika and Ray of Das Kleine Haus. It took them 5 years to bring their DIY tiny house to life, 2.5 years of research and 2.5 years of building, while going to school and working. They gave us a short, fun tour of their gorgeous house that is also home to two adorable terriers.

Join us next Tuesday to see our next tiny house parking spotβ€” somewhere new!
