Preserving the Spirit of the Tiny House Movement

Video #5 of 5 from the Tiny House Jamboree 2015

The first National Tiny House Jamboree, the world's largest tiny house gathering, was really all about the people. Obviously the beautiful spectrum of 28 tiny houses on display was a major highlight. But the genuine passion and friendly vibes of people were the heart & soul of the weekend. From newest tiny house enthusiast to some of the original pioneers of the movement, the wiliness to share ideas & resources made this more than just another festival. This was a fine example of community building.

One thing that has been really amazing in our movement, that allowed it to grow to this place, is that it started from a very welcoming, friendly, open place. I think it’s really important that we remember that, and we try to keep it that way.
— A message of unity from Zack Giffin

We capture insights & inspiration from this new kind of community, the tiny house community. Leaders of the movement share their tiny house, lifestyle & community building advice. Attendees make meaningful connections, and share their dreams openly with the hopes of gaining support & guidance.

The tiny house movement is alive & well! So proud to have been a part of this wonderful, historic event and part of the growing tiny house tribe.

If a movement is to have an impact it must be belong to the people who join it, not the people who lead it.
